A Tanzanian avocado farm with roots in Kibondo.
Established in 2021, Kibondo Green Farm grows premium Hass avocados in Kigoma — for flavour, for the land, and for the people who live beside the orchards.
Our story
Who we are
We are among Tanzania’s dedicated Hass avocado growers: a farm business built to produce high-quality fruit and to practice agriculture that can last.
From lush orchards to careful harvests, the path from tree to table is slow work. Creamy, nutrient-rich Hass avocados are changing landscapes here — and they support local livelihoods, one season at a time.
We choose varieties, nursery practice, and harvest timing so fruit that leaves the farm is worth putting on a table or a shop shelf. We also invest in methods that keep water, soil, and biodiversity in mind, because this valley has to feed more than one generation.
Place
Kibondo’s valleys give Hass trees warmth, rainfall, and soils that reward careful farming. We stay here because the land is right for this crop.
People
Sixteen specialists tend the nursery and orchards. Fair work, clear standards, and knowledge shared locally are part of how we farm.
